King of Seasons “Kapha is aggravated in spring season” (कफप्रकोप)
Among all seasons, Spring is my favourite season. This season is called "Rituraj "(King of all Seasons). It is the most beautiful season., attractive and heart warming. Weather becomes pleasant and the days grow longer. It is the season of fragrance, beauty, fresh leaves and flowers. Unlike other seasons, it is neither cold, hot nor wet. The birds chirp, the flower bloom, the sun smiles and the butterflies flutter. The fishes and swans swim happily in the water. The cool air blows against the face. We see squirrels playing and running around trees. Spring gives joy to everyone, this is why i love this season.
Famous Hindu festivals are celebrated in this season such as Holi, Vasant Panchami, Gudi Padwa, Baisakhi, Ugadi, Ram Navmi, Vishu, Bihu, Puthandu, Hanuman Jayanti, and more.
"WINTER ALWAYS TURN TO SPRING"
Introduction
Life in Accord with the Seasons
Life on earth is controlled by the movement of sun. Life event would suggest that time, seasons and three bodily components (the essence of digested food, dosha and strength) are governed, in the final analysis, by the sun, wind and moon.
Time measured as the year has six seasons, Sisira, vasanta and grishma characterize the summer solstice when the sun progresses to the north of the equator, and brings about the period of drawing up (adana). The rest of the year consist of varsha, sarat and hemanta which coincide with the winter solstice when the sun moves south of the equator. This period witnesses the (visarga) release of what ever was drawn up earlier. During adana, the sun draws moisture through hot and rough winds and progresses increase the quality of roughness in substances as it progresses from sisira to grisma. The consequence of this drying and roughening process is the augmentation of taste (rasas) - bitter (tikta), astringent (kashaya) and pungent (Katu) - which share the quality of roughness, and an decrease in body strength.
In contrast, the sun's power is lessen during the southward course by the cloud, winds and rain during varsha, sarat, and hemanta. The heavenly shower cool the earth, the moon gains ascendancy and the rasas - sour (amla), salty (lavana), sweet (madhur) - which have the opposite of rough quality of dominate. As a result, the body gains in strength.
Thus the season are marked by fluctuation of in strength. During adana, the body strength is highest in sisira, medium in vasanta and lowest in grishma. During visarga or release, it is the highest in hemanta, medium in sarat and lowest in varsha.

Features
Spring is the most beautiful season of the year. Spring is personified by blooming of mango flowers, singing of Koyal (कोयल), the trees and creepers become loaded with flowers, lakes are filled with lotus. There is fragrance everywhere. Spring is a season of birth, new beginnings, renewal, and growth—a time for the earth to make manifest the latent potential within all things. Seeds are germinating, flowers budding, insects buzzing, leaves unfurling. Happiness resides in this season.
Winter's accumulated snow and ice are beginning to melt. The digestive fire being high, people eat more and heavy food. Sometimes they are not able to assimilate these hard to digest food so ama (toxic product of indigestion) start accumulating.
Just as spring melts the lingering ice and snow, it liquefies accumulated Kapha (ideally, so that it can be eliminated from the body). This process can either be a revitalizing event or it can trigger a number of health challenges. When the warm weather melts the snow in spring, it has a similar effect on the body. The ama starts melting and clogs the channels. If you do not assist the toxins in moving out of the body, you can be prone to flu, colds and allergies.
According to Ayurveda, Kapha (Anabolism) is a cold, moist energy which causes sinus and respiratory problems. Kapha is accumulated by too little physical activity, or too much sleep and overeating rich and fatty foods. In Kapha aggravation organs involved are chest, head, neck, stomach and fat. Kapha aggravation disturbs the digestive system hence person experience various digestive problems
On another hand a person with balanced doshas enjoys this weather, feels fresh ready to enjoy the season, gains energy, enthusiasm and has a relaxing experience. This season signifies new life.
