Water

Sustainer of life |
Water has many dimensional portrayed in religion as well as science. Water is one of the three important things for survival of human beings. The other important items are air and food.
Water is receptive adopting a shape of that which it encounters, follows a path of least resistance, yet gaining power and momentum as it flows.
"Dry skin and hair fall could be a sign of poor hydration."
Introduction
Biologically, water has many distinct properties that are vital for the proliferation of life which sets it apart from other substances. Water is also central in photosynthesis and respiration in plants. Several plants flourish simply on water, even some people can survive on water alone for for several weeks and even months this proves that in water there are life nourishing elements.
The human body is made up of 70 % water. The circulatory system, the respiratory system, the glandular system and the digestive system are all water related Hence water is an integral factor of our life. Water can be used in two ways internally and externally.
It is summer, and that nice, tall drink of iced water is so tempting. But wait! Yes, cold water is refreshing, but have you ever wondered what it does to your body? You may already know that when you wash your face with hot/warm water, it opens up your pores and loosens your skin. On the other hand, washing your face with cold water closes the pores and tightens the skin. Now imagine this tightness in your digestive tract. Feels unpleasant, doesn’t it?
Here are more reasons as to why you should avoid drinking cold water:
1. When you drink cold water, or any other chilled beverage, it hinders your hydration, restricts your digestion and shrinks your blood vessels.
2. Drinking cold water changes your body’s internal temperature. Your body now uses the energy stored to regulate your temperature instead of digesting food and absorbing nutrients to produce energy.
3. Excessive mucus is created when you drink cold water after a meal. This leads to a decline in the function of your immune system, which makes you prone to catch illness and cold.
4. If you drink cold water with a meal or after it, fats in your food become solidified due to the low water temperature. The body now struggles to digest the nonessential fats from your body.
Some people claim that drinking cold water can burn calories better by making your digestive system work harder. However, this is not the correct way to burn calories! You don’t need to make your digestive system work harder. There are many other ways to burn calories. So, ditch that glass of cold water. Health experts vehemently agree that :
"Warm, or room temperature, water is best for the body."
Some benefits of warm water include:
1. Increased and faster hydration
2. Digestion is improved due to stimulation of natural digestive enzymes
3. Food is broken down with more ease
4. Better bowel movement, especially if you put lemon juice in warm water
5. Blood is purified and your body is naturally detoxified via your lymphatic system, kidney and skin
"So the next time you sit down for a meal, grab that glass of room temperature water instead."
Water- the essence of all form, yet formless. You are the point from which each direction flows, and you are the flow. You are the flow, you are the one that feels , you are the one that moves. You are the one that embraces the others.

Well water is sweet, but has to maintain cleanliness around the well. Washing of cloths and near the well, pollutes the well water. Water that has no access to sunlight or moonlight is also considered unfit for consumption. Water has to be purified before consumption by straining, boiling or filtering.
Bathing in hot or cold water is as per weather conditions. While bathing one has to scrub the body with a small towel to open the pores of the skin, so that the skin will absorb all the nourishing qualities of water. The friction in the body caused by scrubbing stimulates blood circulation and imparts a blissful feeling of freshness. A good scrubbing relieves fatigue. Hence water sustains vigor internally as well as externally.

Chakra Two SWADHISHTHAN CHAKRA is associated with water.

Think of a water as it flows from the sky, caressing the mountains, running in rivulets to its various pools. Imagine water raining down on you, caressing your body , running in rivulets down your pelvis and legs, down to soften your earth below. You are the rain as you fall effortlessly from heaven to earth.
You are water- the essence of all form, yet formless. You are the point from which each direction flows. You are the flow, you are the one that feels, you are the one that moves. You are the one that embraces the others.
The element of this chakra is water, therefore the chakra correspond to bodily functions having to do with liquids. Circulation of blood, urinary elimination, sexuality and reproduction, as well as all the qualities of water. such as flow, formlessness, fluidity and surrender.
In the tree of life the second chakra corresponds to Yesod, the sphere of water and moon. Its associated celestial body is the moon which pulls the ocean of water to an fro in dualistic rhythmic motion.
We move from element of earth to that of water, where solid becomes liquid, stillness becomes movement, form becomes formless. We have gained a degree of freedom but also more complexity.
This movement is the essence of second chakra purpose in overall system. It is the opposite of first chakra stillness. Where the first chakra seeks to hold on and create structure . The second chakras purpose is to let go and create flow. Flow allows one thing to connect energetically with another. It is a difference between a point and a line.
Motion exist within every known part of cosmos and is an essential characteristic of all energy, matter and consciousness. Without movement the universe is static, fixed and time ceases to exist. There is no field to create the illusion of solid matter and we would instead experience its emptiness.
It is the pure movement in the abstract which give rise to the Cosmos. The movement give rise to eventually to the locked up modes of opposing forces which are the prime atoms. It is movements of these atoms which forms the basis of all manifestations.
We are all part of this constant process of movement, moving through many dimensions simultaneously. We move through physical space, as well as through feelings, through time (from one moment to the nest)., and through consciousness,(from one thought to the next). We move through the world in motion, a world in constant change. Movement is an essential part of life force. The essence of what separates life from death, the animate from inanimate. Rock don't move-people do. Let us flow than through the element of water in this second wheel of life, discovering how to bring us movement pleasure, change and growth.
